Here\u2019s information you need to know before and during your trip.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Passenger Locator Form\u00a0<\/strong>(PLF-\u00a0GDPR compliant) is a necessary travel document for you to be able to enter the country. Visit\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitgreece.gr\/netvolution\/Pages\/edit\/15\/travel.gov.gr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">travel.gov.gr<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to access it and fill in the requested information about your point of departure, the duration of your previous stays in other countries as well as your address in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>To help you better prepare for your trip and plan your safe stay in our country, we have created\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitgreece.gr\/netvolution\/Pages\/edit\/15\/GREECE%20HEALTH%20FIRST\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GREECE HEALTH FIRST<\/a><\/strong>, a webpage that contains information and answers to queries you may have about travelling to Greece, so that you can enjoy your trip in as safe a manner as possible.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to inform you that the government measures regarding the country\u2019s response to the Covid-19 pandemic are regularly updated, based on the latest epidemiological data in Greece.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Locations for COVID-19 Tests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The list of all locations where you can take a COVID -19 test (PCR or rapid antigen test) can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1jzeb6gYzCX6pYxoFIPYFikHMu2OiGLQwQ1l2bXcgkSw\/edit#gid=0\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the protection of passengers and citizens from COVID-19, the following rules are in place until 6:00 a.m.,\u00a0<strong>April 18<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0<strong>2022<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The residents of European Union\u00a0&amp;\u00a0Schengen Area\u00a0countries,\u00a0Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Benin, Cape Verde, Chinese Taipei\u00a0(not recognised as a sovereign state by Greece),\u00a0Colombia,\u00a0El Salvador, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Panama, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Tonga, Tunesia, Turkey, Vatican City, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom,\u00a0and\u00a0Uruguay, who are in\u00a0 possession of the\u00a0European Union Digital Covid Certificate (EUDCC), may visit Greece for pleasure. EUDCC holders must provide information on their status in the form of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a Covid-19 vaccination certificate\u00a0valid\u00a0up to nine (9) months\u00a0for those who have had their first and second dose (depending on the vaccine) and\u00a0indefinitely\u00a0for those who have had the\u00a0booster shot as well, or<\/li>\n<li>a Covid-19 recovery certificate, valid\u00a0up to six (6) months, or<\/li>\n<li>a negative result\u00a0to a molecular\u00a0PCR test\u00a0for Covid-19 taken within seventy-two (72) hours or to a\u00a0rapid (antigen) test done within twenty-four (24) hours before their arrival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Travellers from Australia, the\u00a0USA,\u00a0and\u00a0Canada, too, must present either a certificate of\u00a0vaccination\u00a0or\u00a0recovery, or a\u00a0negative result to a Covid-19 test, as described above.<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>Irrespective of their vaccination status, travellers\u00a0<strong>from countries not mentioned above<\/strong> must show one of the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a <strong>negative result to a molecular PCR test for Covid-19<\/strong>, taken within\u00a0<strong>seventy-two (72) hours<\/strong> before their entry in Greece, or<\/li>\n<li>a <strong>negative result<\/strong>\u00a0to a\u00a0<strong>rapid (antigen) test<\/strong>\u00a0done within\u00a0<strong>twenty-four (24) hours<\/strong> before their arrival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The certificates must be issued by an accredited testing laboratory in the <strong>English language.<\/strong><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Flight passengers will be subject to\u00a0random testing (PCR or rapid test),\u00a0upon arrival. Should the passenger continue to run a fever after the fifth day, then they\u00a0remain in isolation\u00a0until the body temperature is normal again. The certificate can be issued\u00a0<strong>fourteen (14) days<\/strong>\u00a0after the first positive test result and it is\u00a0valid for\u00a0<strong>six (6) months<\/strong> after that test.<\/li>\n<li>a<strong>\u00a0negative<\/strong>\u00a0result\u00a0to a\u00a0<strong>molecular PCR test<\/strong>\u00a0for Covid-19, taken\u00a0<strong>within\u00a072 hrs\u00a0<\/strong>before their arrival, or a\u00a0<strong>negative rapid test<\/strong>\u00a0taken\u00a0<strong>within\u00a048 hrs<\/strong>\u00a0before,\u00a0issued by an accredited testing laboratory in the\u00a0<strong>English<\/strong>\u00a0language;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minors from 4-17 years\u00a0old, who are not in possession of any of the above documents must show a\u00a0negative self-test\u00a0done\u00a0up to 24 hours before, stating their self-test result on the following\u00a0pdf, which can be downloaded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/self-testing.gov.gr\/covid19-self-test-print.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"Minors from 4-17 years\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"\" data-uw-rm-vglnk=\"\" data-uw-pdf-br=\"1\" data-uw-pdf-doc=\"\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tourist accommodation establishment managers are required to create an action\u00a0plan, to have a\u00a0health protocol\u00a0in place for each part of the establishment and be ready to deal with a\u00a0potential Covid-19 case, in accordance with the current guidelines of the\u00a0National Public Health Organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Restaurants and caf\u00e9s \/ bars<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers are accepted in the\u00a0indoor spaces\u00a0of restaurants, caf\u00e9s, nightclubs, bars, pubs, bo\u00eetes etc. by showing their\u00a0Covid-19 vaccination certificate\u00a0or\u00a0recovery certificate\u00a0(valid up to 6 months after illness), with an identity check.\u00a0\u00a0Minors from 4-17 years\u00a0old, who are not in possession of any of the above documents must show a\u00a0negative self-test\u00a0done\u00a0up to 24 hours before, stating their self-test result on the following\u00a0pdf, which can be downloaded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/self-testing.gov.gr\/covid19-self-test-print.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"Customers are accepted in the\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"\" data-uw-rm-vglnk=\"\" data-uw-pdf-br=\"1\" data-uw-pdf-doc=\"\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the outdoor spaces\u00a0of the above establishments, customers have to show either a\u00a0certificate of vaccination\u00a0or\u00a0recovery\u00a0(valid up to 6 months after illness), or a\u00a0negative PCR test\u00a0done\u00a0up to 72 hours before\u00a0entering or a\u00a0negative rapid test taken up to 48 hours before, with an identity check. Minors\u00a0from 4-17 years old\u00a0who are not in possession of any of the above documents can enter the premises by showing a\u00a0negative self-test\u00a0as described above.<\/p>\n<p>The use of masks is mandatory\u00a0for customers waiting for a table or making their way into the premises, and strongly recommended for those already seated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture\/ Entertainment:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Archaeological sites\u00a0are open to visitors. The ones\u00a0over 18 years of age\u00a0are required to show a\u00a0certificate of vaccination\u00a0or\u00a0illness\u00a0(up to 6 months after illness) or a negative\u00a0PCR test\u00a0done\u00a0up to 72 hours\u00a0before entering or\u00a0a rapid test\u00a0taken\u00a0up to 48 hours\u00a0before their visit, with identity check.\u00a0Minors from 4-17 years old,\u00a0who are not in possession of any of the above documents, must show a\u00a0negative self-test\u00a0done\u00a0up to 24 hours before, stating their self-test result on the following\u00a0pdf, which can be downloaded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/self-testing.gov.gr\/covid19-self-test-print.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"Archaeological sites\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"\" data-uw-rm-vglnk=\"\" data-uw-pdf-br=\"1\" data-uw-pdf-doc=\"\">here<\/a>. Visitors can enter in groups of\u00a0up to twenty (20) people\u00a0(unless they are families), and during their stay they must\u00a0wear a mask\u00a0and observe\u00a0physical distancing. The number increases to\u00a0up to 40 people\u00a0where\u00a0groups with a guide\u00a0are concerned, provided that visitors show any one of the documents required for entrance, as described above.<\/p>\n<p>All museums\u00a0and\u00a0monuments in indoor spaces\u00a0throughout the country\u00a0are\u00a0open\u00a0to the public and operate in compliance with sanitary measures (distances between attendees, use of a mask, etc.). Minors\u00a0<strong>aged 4 to 17\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; if not in possession of any of the above documents &#8211; must show<strong>\u00a0a negative self-test,<\/strong>\u00a0(see the first paragraph).<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>guest houses<\/strong>\u00a0will run according to the sanitary measures announced for the accommodation establishments (See the Accommodation section).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Passengers on chairlifts\u00a0and\u00a0closed cabins\u00a0with natural ventilation\u00a0must wear a face mask \u2013 there are no other restrictions for boarding.\u00a0Gondolas\u00a0without a natural ventilation system\u00a0may run on a 50% capacity, on the condition that passengers wear a surgical mask. If the gondola is used by members of the same family\u00a0only, then it may be filled to capacity.<\/p>\n<p>A surgical mask must be worn in areas where there are clusters of people in the resort\u2019s <strong>ski schools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travelers\u2019s advice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The risk for travelers is considered high. It is recommended that travelers avoid nonessential travel to areas with local transmission of COVID-19.
